I like to add something from my heart and opinion. All in Gods love. Our current President which if you follow me, I dislike very much. I served 3 years US active Army. I joined to get away from home. 18 years old and a wild child. About 2 weeks into being in the Army I realized the USA and that flag was earned. I became a young man and grew to Love that flag, and willing to die for it.
It seems in this whissy political panzee lazy world some and our president is so against standing up to the evil and death in the world. Or the women when called to Iran to go serve scream I have children I can't go. Or the deserter Bowe Bergdahl we give up 5 Leaders that only want us dead. Sorry America was founded on rules, merit.. code on conduct. In todays world the last 7 years been a dictator 1 man show. Funny I never hear a Democrat elect speak. Just Obooma..
My point is there has not been a draft since 1960's. 45 years ago. Every single person serving, joined. I was in a combat MOS, all we did everyday was train for war, to kill, to win. All other 4 branches are either combat, or for support of combat. All train for war. Protect and yes leave the USA so the fight from the wacko's don't come here. You really think the USA could survive a war here? Heck now days we have americans (and our president) that thinks it's OK to burn down a city, rob stores, burn tax payer paid police cars ALL on national TV and get away with it. The guy that burned down the Walgreens (on TV) got 5 years, he'll be out in 2-1/2 years. He did millions of dollars in damage.
Lets take back America. I love every single person on earth, I do not like all. The bible taught me this. No I'm not a holy roller, I'm messed up as the next. I do have a love affair with our Flag. It's a piece of cloth I am still willing to die for. Lets not lose sight of this!
If your a Veteran, today is a day to reflect some. I never regret serving 3 years. I think is should be mandatory for all men to serve. That might be my best idea yet..
