The G5238T features a high gloss Gold Sparkle finish and a Licensed Bigsby tremolo. The gold sparkle on the G5238T is a little different then the standard Gretsch sparkle. It's more like a "metallic" Gold with a very fine sparkle. It's a very cool finish! The Electromatic Jet's are excellent guitars that sound great and have that classic Gretsch style! The Electromatic Jet features the same construction recipe you'd find on its 1950's ancestors. It has a chambered Mahogany body with set neck and a 3 ply maple top yielding a snappy tone that's great for a variety of music styles. The tone from the mini humbuckers is very clean with low noise and plenty of bite. The bridge pickup is nice and bright and the neck pickup has a much smoother "scooped" midrange and warm bass response.
