This Kramer Strat was Built and measured to Eddie 1961/62 Strat. Seymour Wound the Pickups. It's not a Kramer Focus Classic Strat copy pulled off the assembly line, and then just givin to Ed as a gift. In your Hands, to your eyes and ears.. This Strat Build got started on a conversation Gray and Ed was having how the Red Stripe Guitar got started..... and at 1 point Eddie said how he kind of regrets Taking a Fine Guitar and wasn't loaded with money at that time so Experiment came by Eddie's Pre CBS Strat . Then Gary said to Eddie get us your Strat and Kramer built this Strat and used the specs from the Strat Eddie mod the heck out of it.... EVH 61-62 Fender Strat is that really started and really the MAIN Guitar that help Shape his Franken Strat .... Eddie Like the Feel of a Strat, and of coarse the Stratocaster Tremolo Bridge... When Gary was done with this Kramer it was gifted to Eddie Van Halen back in the day when Eddie was endorsed by Kramer and was a regular at the Kramer shop.
This Kramer Strat came from EVH Home/5150 Studio... right at the Time David Lee Roth re-joined VanHalen.. and Sammy was history..

Kramer Gave it a Neck Plate Ser # 65162. All Kramer Guitar's that where the Serial Number that started with a 6, means it was a 1 of 1 customer Made for a Artist/famous guitar player/band. The next 4 # are 5162.... When Kramer was giving this guitar to Eddie, Gary Kramer said.. 5162.. is like 5150.. but it's 62 for the Year Fender Strat That help VanHalen and Eddie get to where They Are in the World of Making Music, Making Guitar;s Amps, Tremolo.. You see that guitar that sold for millions.. the Hot For Teacher guitar was sold with just a gig bag came in a Gig Bag.. So this case adds more to the history.
