Sold: Peter.....2001 John Cruz Gold Sparkle Fender Custom Shop Classic Player Strat Feather Weight!
Custom Classic Stratocaster®
Below is a write up.. Heck with all that. This is a KILLER 7lb 6oz John Cruz Built C-Shop. It was started in 2000, finished in 2001. Back then there wasn't many Custom Shop Strat's. You had to pay up front and wait up to 1 year to get. Year 2000 was 1st year Fender started doing Vintage specs/looking Stratocaster's. 1996-to mid 1999 Vince Cunetto was the man. John Cruz guitar's ARE ALL GREAT. Every Single One. I had more Strat's than any shop on earth, ever.. (I'm guessing) Never had a bad one. John is a Master Craftmen now. For him to build you a guitar there is a 4-1/2 year wait list, and it be over $7500+
This Strat had original string on it when I got. I got from orig owner. Bought, never learned how to play. The sticker is still on neck plate, plastic still on pickguard. I of coarse did a Eddie Vegas set up. Neck relief just about straight, action on lower side for a Strat. This is how I like Hard Tails.. You will See in the video's I will do, the Strings Sustain like Rubber Bands, and sound Unreal unplugged.. You know instantly it's a Monster!!!
Has a 5 way
All case candy is there un opened...Strap.. But sorry no COA.. I mean the guy never took the plastic off, but loses the COA:)
Neck is Med Size Full C Shape...
20.79mm @ 1st Fret
23.11mm @ 12th Fret
Bridge Pickup Reads 5.61k
Middle 5.86k
Neck 5.93k
Get over the Strat is not a tremolo model. Hardtails are little know secret of Pure Blues Bell Tone.. Robert Cray sounds pretty good... Ya Think!
