1981 Gibson Explorer E2 CMT with Rare combination of Tobacco Burst over Flame Maple Top

Many miles on this baby. Now 20 years ago I was 32.. this was what I needed many to feel right... I'm going threw my own stuff, and no crap I need rehab. Things and styles changed as you get older, this Def Leppard thing is just in the pile.. You want? I keep saying this, and its a blessing for me.. But If I owned it, it is Great. Not brag gin, just I say it..how it is.
I have Bare Knuckle Geoff Whitehorn double cream in there now. The pick guard is 80's Chandler. The bridge and tail piece are Tone Pro's or the like of them, and I put chrome mini schallers.( had gold mini, so no alteration of tuner holes) As it had all gold hardware.. I made it Better, and had fret level and perfect made bone nut installed a few years back. Another word, I keep it rocking & poppin*
Weight is 9lb 14 oz. Pretty Big Chunky Neck, Flat radius and jumbo frets. Low action, freaking Tone Beast!. This will take you back to in your bedroom at home with Mommy & Daddy house daz's. But back then your main axe was a go out of tune Hondo LP copy, we didn't have tuners back then and you was always out of tune anyhow, and your amp was a Old Sears, but you had a 15" speaker and a MXR Distortion +..
Don't laugh.. I was talking about me!......but but Dep Leppard came out and that skinny long hair dude had 1 one these... And you dreamed one day... Today is your day.
I remember seeing a 3 band concert in Syracuse NY. It was Def Leppard 1st album, On Threw The Night. Judus Priest.. British Steel... Scorpions.. Love Drive.. Year was 1979.. Cost of ticket was $7.50.. To me Def Leppard was the best. Young, energy, no fear... and they had Pete Willis guitar player then... Sorry I can't name New bands that even right their dam own songs anymore!
Most these you see for sale are cherry or natural and just aint cool or set up like this one.PLUS this has the Flamed Maple Top... 97% do not.... This is a rare Vintage 2 Tone/Maple Top with the white binding aged cream...and has the cool case with pink baby***** and the guitar has a cool name.. " Little Lover" on there before me:)
