1972 ORIG AUG 72 BEST NECK I HAD IN EVER
Sale is for Neck with Bushing, and String Tree.. No Tuners AS I SAID IN TITLE. THIS 1972 NECK HAS BEEN PLAYED IT'S WHOLE LIFE. EVERY INCH OF THE 72 GUITAR IT CAME FROM HAS JUST AS MUCH TONE AS "ANY" STRAT IN MY SHOP, OR OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. ALL THE ELEMENTS ADDED UP TO BELL TONE. I DID NOT SAY THE STRAT OR NECK WAS MINT. I SAID "BEST TONE"
DO NOT BE FOOLED AT THE WEAR. THIS NECK IS AS SMOOTH AS GLASS, AND BROKE IN FEEL YOU ALL DREAM OF. ME INCLUDED!
IT HAS BEN REFRETTED AND HAS 80S FENDER SEALED TUNERS ON IT. IT IS A PLAYERS NECK, THESE TUNERS ARE 10 TIMES BETTER THAN STAYING IN TUNE THAN THE STOCK "F" TUNERS. REMEMBER, STRATOCASTER'S ARE TO BE PLAYED?
ONE MORE TIME. THIS WAS THE BEST SOUNDING PLAYING 1972 STRAT I EVER TOUCHED OR OFFERED. NO 1 ITEM MADE IT ROCKED. BEING PLAYED ALMOST 40 YEARS EVERYDAY GOT IT THIS WAY!
22mm @ 1st fret
24.07mm @12th
1972 are 5-10k. This is 1 pat# Decal Stratocaster Neck here. Still same quality as 60s then. 1971-72 3 bolt necks are 3-4 times Better than 73-74, in my book. This is one that you will LOVE the Strat you put it on, Because the Neck is Killer!
You can find average excellent necks alot. To find a Clapton Blackie Maple 1972 Neck? Is once with Vegas*
To me this is BETTER Than MINT!
Yes reg tuners go back on if You wanted. Of coarse this has Blues Bar Room played for years. Just Vibe & MoJo! AND TONE!
I have pics towards end of Black Light Glow...showing Original finish..(most finish is played off fretboard...like Clapton's Blackie) and few pics neck to other Big Headstock Strat necks to show size and profile..:)
