1971 ORIGINAL Fender Telecaster Well Played Earned Blues Player!
I just a have done a PRO Re Fret with Taller Vintage wire and a new bone nut.. Other than than this work horse is 100%..
I also added a real Fender Strat Decal. I have some of these in my stash for real vintage necks if they need one. I basically went to put this in a 63 neck, and the dang decal got all tangled up. I left it in the bowl of water as these cost $, and a few days later I look in the bowl, and it straighten out. I had no play to use it, on this Tele it went.. It come off if not like. Be different, be 1 of a kind!
So- Cool Very earned Play Wear... Think why someone played the SNOT out of this????
It had some famous player signatures with sharpie on the front of body. Sorry I'm not playing any guitar with any signature on it. It's My Guitar, so I took the names off. You see some video's with the names still on.. You see they are gone....
Neck Date is Aug 71
1st fret measures 21.69mm
12th fret measures 23.67mm
Pot dates are 6635, that is 35th week 1966.. We know most Fender Strat and Tele's had 66 pots from 1966-1971 as Fender bought a crap load of pots in 1966, and not really many guitar's were built by Fender from late 66 thru mid 69.
This Tele has a average size neck. Plays and is a keeper Great Tele. It keep up with a 40k 50's Tele. It has All the Spank.... Sparkle....Vibe......Bell Tele Tone you want or could ask for! Been played all over the world and USA.. When I got it it;s frets were shot as I ever seen. Played very well, but not when it came to lead.. I mean the frets were shot. All taking care of by a Fender Truest.......ME!
