1968 Orig Nitro Finish Fender Tele Body Olympic White Blues Tone Body!
Had FEB 68 Maple Cap Neck date. Neck & Body is Nitro finish, as early 68 Sale is for the 68 Tele Body & Output Jack Only...
This Tele has a P-90 pickup route in the bridge. With a Orig 1968 Tele Bridge on, there was a small gap on each side of the bridge. I just filled the area with some old 60's tele body I had all broke up. It's a Player Cool As Heck Vintage Fender body. Don't take this personal. Get over the route, all together this is a Great Real Deal Fender 48+ years old, Original Olympic White Nitro Body, well played and aged to K@@L Banana Yellow We Love!... for a little bit higher price as a new green wood C-Shop Relic Tele Body. What you think has Better Bell Tone.. Vintage, or Green?
I have some pics with other parts to give you a look..per say
1st I want to say, this 1968 Tele was Pro Played, been all over the USA gigging, playing venues, clubs, arena's.. What I'm saying.. It had Bell Tone, Mojo/////Vibe!
It weight was 7-1/2lbs built. Body is 4.9lbs as you see it.. That is light for a Tele body
It had a 70's brass bridge (chrome platted) with 6 adjustable saddles. A Orig bridge go right back on. As you can see the bridge pickup area has a p-90 rout of sorts. It was played with a Fender Tele pickup in it as I got. I don't even think they finished the p-90 rout, so that never panned out
The output jack is a chrome plate modded, this set up it Better than the stock output jack cup
Great Original finish 46+ year old 1968 Fender Wood here... Remember Tone is in the Wood... Don't think just pickups gets you the sound you want, Wood... Wood... Old School Wood***
