1967 Orig Gretsch Rally 6105 With Sonic Boom Bamboo Yellow- Copper Mist In Color

1967 Orig Gretsch Rally 6105 With Sonic Boom Bamboo Yellow- Copper Mist In Color

1967 Orig Gretsch Rally 6105 With Sonic Boom

Very Nice shape for a 1967 Gretsch with none of the normal Gretsch issues like missing binding or poor neck set.

The binding on this beauty is nice and the neck angle is correct.

This guitar needs nothing to gig tonight. Frets are in nice shape as is the Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Finish is in nice shape other than typical finish checking. Set up is very comfortable and it's a pretty fun guitar to play.

As you may know, a few of these were made with the "Sonic Boom" switch, which activates a 9V battery (notice 9V access panel on rear of body) and provides a hotter signal, sort of a treble boost.

This was really a 1 owner Guitar. It was bought new in 1967, around 1970 was given to guy it came from. That guy Never played it ever. I sat in the case all these years. Even had a 1960's 9 volt in it. This had a Pro gone over the entire circuit and everything now works perfectly, including the Sonic Boom. Set Up, Intonates GREAT.. Whole 9 yards Very Nice Playing Sound Vibing Vintage Gretsch. No smells.. real;ly kind of new in my book..Please don't take this wrong, If I say it Plays Great, and Sounds Great.. it does.:)

It's finished on one of Gretsch's coolest color combos: Bamboo Yellow Top with Copper Back.

Like all Gretsch's, it has the usual pickup select and tone select switches, including one for the Sonic Boom which also has its own level knob. All original other than bridge & pickguard, which is a genuine Gretsch replacement pickguard. The bridge is a vintage and older than 1967, but not orig to this guitar..BUT it plays and intonates MUCH Better with this Bridge.. So Play and Be in Tune....and be Happy!

Comes with Original Case and has a 60's grey guitar cord and some old Black Label Strings..KILLER AXE!

Bamboo Yellow on the front, back and sides are Copper Mist. Bigsby tremolo and two orig. Gretsch "High-Lo-Tron" pickus. Comes incl. orig. Gretsch hardshell case.
