This Strat came from Nashville. Tom Britt who plays Guitar Vince Gills played and recorded with this Custom Color Fender 1965 Strat
Only issue is the neck and middle pickup cavity was pro routed by Tom as he would use other pickup assemblies for different sound when playing out in Concert and Recording.To play in Vince Gills band you best have the goods, Vince is a unreal Guitar Player/Singer and Vintage Fender Tone Hound in His Own League..
This was my own personal Strat I decided to keep because it's the Best looking Candy Apple Red, and Providence and TONE So I sent the body to Lays Guitar in Akron Ohio. Dan Shinn is a personal friend of mine and the owner of Lays Guitar. After some thought I had Dan Professionally repaired the route and used old alder wood from his stash to repair the route. Blend in with correct Candy Apple Red..Nitro.. ONLY the repair was re finished. again just that area is not orig finish. I have a picture with tape showing the repair. In. person you have to get the light just right to even see the work. This was in 2009 the work was done. It has been my own player for all these years and now letting it go. You just never see Original Custom Color Nitro Finish Pre CBS Fender Strat Bodies EVER for sale.. I myself have never seen one, and thats why I kept it and played it all this time.., I like different and rare. In my book Sunburst been done to many times over.
This Finish was played off for a reason.. Think on that if you're wondering if the Body has Bell Tone....

This Body Has 1964 Contours.. and the pots were dated 1964, pickups and neck were dated early 1965
