As Eric Clapton's famous "Psychedelic SG" as used on "Disraeli Gears" Cream Era 1964-1968 ( ahhh the good years in music)
This is a real deal 1965-66 Gibson SG. It was sent back to the Gibson Factory in 60s to have the Bridge put on BY Gibson. It had a overlay of Mahogany pieced in to cover up the orig Vibrato Bridge. You could barley see the job Gibson did.
It was a Great Fat Neck Unreal Playing Sounding SG then. But we All know the famous Fool guitar giving to Eric by George Harrison of the Beatles bla bla. Todd Rundgren’s has that guitar now.
Years ago and took 2 years to have it completed. It went to GMW and Lee Garber Hand painted this. Not just anyone can get this done. You got to know people! You can search the whole net, many many stories on this or that. The real deal had orig neck replaced and the story goes on. This is as close and Better than the real one. This has clear Nitro over it so it will last 5 our life times. The Clapton one paint was coming off every time you looked at it
