1965 ORIGINAL FINISH FENDER STRAT BODY

The photo's of this Body on the built Strat, it just me building a Player Strat with Original Jan 66 Rosewood Neck that was in my Stash... 1965 Pickup Assembly, 72 Bridge , L series Neck Plate.....Notice the Factory Neck Binding on that Rare Clean Jan 1966 Strat Neck.. EJ be proud. He's the only other player ( besides myself) that happens to like the very few Mid 60's Fender Stratocaster that got one of these necks with binding...
Only small blemish to mention, is the 1 ding up by the low E side 5 frets up from the bottom of the neck ( 16th fret) ding and touched up small spot. It IS NOT A CRACK, just a ding. Touched up by a Black Nitro Pen of sorts.. many years ago.
Weight Together as a Compete Stratocaster is 7lbs 6 oz.. Perfect.... Perfect Weight for a Strat.. Eric Johnsons 1962 Strat that Fender used the Specs and Neck size on building the Signature EJ. .. I sold that Strat ( the original 62 in question here) after I played it as my own for a few years. That weighed 7.5lbs
