1964 Turtle Shell Fender Telecaster Pickguard... Nitro
This item I just am Not sure who made. I believe it is not Fender 1964 guard, BUT in your hands it will keep you up thinking. Reason is probably is not Fender as back is dull, not shinny like the 4 ply Turtle Shell guard are. It is NITRO, it has warped little. IT is Very usable. I just happen to have a Tele body on bench, I screwed it on, neck pickup fits in hole.
I mean look yourself. Clearly 20-30+ years old, K@@L as Heck, it is real Nitro and Turtle Shell in my book.
If I was force to bet money on if it's real, Id have to say yes, but at the price.. It will make your Real Vintage Tele look as it was real deal in Every Single Way! I find great parts, I Love this guard..
We know this guard needs to be on a White, or Sunburst Color Body. It does no look so good on NoCaster Yellow.. But you get the point.. I got it from a old timer that had a repair shop...and he had so much stuff over the years, who knows.
