1963 Original FENDER Telecaster Body Studio Used Tone Rockit

1963 Original FENDER Telecaster Body Studio Used Tone Rockit

1963 Red Mahogany ( Body Wood) Fender Telecaster Body

This sale is for the Body with Strap buttons and complete output jack/cup/cloth wires only. Other photos are to give you a look as being a whole playable Pre CBS Tele

This is a Original Custom Color Olympic White Finish, that has a thin thin over spray in correct same olympic white nitro paint was used. No clear over the white finish.. As Fender was still doing at this time. So the White stays white. It's the clear finish over the Fender color that will give you a yellow patina as it ages over time and white looks duck yellow per say. Look at a couple photos of a original finish 1961 Fiesta Red Strat I have now in my shop. Under Black Light there is no glow really. As Clear gives the glow as it ages.. This over spray you can see has worn threw or off. It wouldn't take but a half of a day, to put this back to all orig finish. Inside it still has all or most of the original finish.

Also look at the Dent/Divot from the players pinky finger resting there while playing. THAT'S Some Serious Playing. No one plays a guitar to put this much wear on it, if the Guitar sucks.. It's a Freaking Perfect Body..Sets up with many necks , with no shim EVER needed.. as the neck pocket wasn't perfect while being built 62 years ago.. That's why some times you need to shim some guitars to get it up and playing//. Not so good neck pocket.. or the neck

I have a picture of the original owner from LA California playing this 1963 Fender Tele playing in his band..One of many he was in as He was a Life Long working musician..

Fender made Very Few Red Mahogany Body Pre CBS Strat, Tele, Mustangs...., At the time Leo was experimenting with different Body Wood, which 95% are Alder, Some has Ash bodies... and in 1965 Leo Sold Fender to CBS.

I had a 1963 Dakota Red Fender Strat, with a red mahogany body I kept as my own for 20 years...but I let it go 3-4 years ago.. And I regret selling that one.. The Tone was Real Bell Tone and the knowing you got a Rare Fender that 99% of the world will never see/play one was just neat. Hey 1968-69 Maple Cap Neck Stratocaster ????Not many ever made, but they Are in a Tone above every same year Fender Strat with a Rosewood Fret board.... and again not many ever see or play one....

It has been played it's whole life, recorded with.. Borrowed by Many to use on their own Record , in the Studio.... It's one of my Best Of the Best Bell Tone, Perfect light weight original finish Pre CBS telecaster finds ever.

Weight was 7.4 lbs as a whole Tele.. That price is Firm. It's a one in a life time find.. It weighs 7.4lbs as a complete playing Tele!
