This is as Strong and perfect as a Vintage pickup can or will get with ORIGINAL Windings. Pickups that are orig windings but have little lower reading, is just it comes with age. NOT that the Orig pickup is weak or even sounds bad, just not 100%. This Pup reads as it did back in 1963 when was made. Somtimes you get lucky. Here is one of them. This is taking from The Vintage Fender web site and 6.4k is the norm for a Pickup when was made. Also 1963 was a Hot Blues Playing Pre CBS Year. As we all know1 From the Site:
