To sum it up in a few New Sentences.. You Hardly Ever See Any 1963 Fender Custom Shop Relics. Allmost all are !960, 1969 some 62, 65. You never see 1963-64. The Neck Is A Dream. FAT, Great Rosewood, Smooth Hand Rolled Edge Frets.. 9.5" Neck Radius. Nitro Thin Skin...Killer Quarter Sawn Maple. It's Great Hands Down.

This is as big as the Fender Custom Shop gets. They even reliced the nut. I remember ordering these as I liked the Black over Olytmpic White, and the Great Combo Pickup Years, Fender put together and Hand Wound by a Legend...It's a 1963.. most are 1960..

Weight is 7-1/2 lbs even, and thats with the back trem cover on.. To be honest from 2011 late.. till now.. The Custom Shop Relic Strats are using the same parts, pickups/pots/case...Only thing that has changed is the Case Candy.. You get less now days.. All Fender Custom Shops since llate 2011 have the nice polished hand rolled smooth frets ..

And how cool it that this is Black over Olympic White Nitro..and just like a Pre CBS would or could have been..
