You Never See Fender Custom Shops built as a 1962. We see 54, 56, 60.. some 64.. 1965, 69.... who cares after that. So in 2012 I had Fender do a 5 Rare Custom Color, .. Gold Hardware... Baseball Bat Neck Profile with Thick Rosewood Slaboard 9.5".. Medium Jumbo Frets...... All Heavy Heavey Aged l@@King... And 1962 Spec Pickups.. in a realistic Green Nitro Look Pickguard... 5 Way Switch... The Assembly is New never sold or used in the last 12,13 years. I parted out 2 of the 5 that were made.. I put it aside and never used it..

I had 5, 1962 Custom Color Relic Strat (colors you never see, ever, but are PRE CBS Custom ordered color's) made. I ordered them to have the BIGGEST Neck Profile Ever and Most Real Detailed and Rarest Year Custom Shop...1962...year I was born..:)

offer some choice parts, other wise never seen.. This Strat I had built are Over $6500 at other shops.. You want a KILLER 1962..not 1960 (like 99% of CS Relics are)
Stop thinking on price, I PAID THE HIGH Dollar to have made, and WAITED 1-1/2 years till I got them.. Yes 1.5 years
The Assembly has a 5 way.. You can see the correct Nitro Green in Color, same thickness and beveled green/black/green as the 60 one. I want to add, I had relic Gold hardware on my 5 62 Relics I had built. The screws in pickups and 5 way will have Nickel Custom Shop Relic screws in when shipped.. most you do not have gold as harware anyhow..
Fender tightin's me up on the Custom Shop...I am maybe most single guitar dealer of 98% Just Fender on earth..:)
