1961 ORIGINAL FENDER STRATOCASTER BODY

This is A Slaboard PRE CBS Body.. You see 1966, 69, 70...maybe a 65 Strat bodies for sale. and not really even those years anymore... Not many 1961..

This body has a channel rout as thats what players did back in the 60's to install some switching to make their Strat be a 5 way, and the wire to the pots and output jack rested in this thin channel..BUT all the body contours are intact.and how they left Fender 61+ years ago.

This body came from a Strat a Pro Player out of Canada.. He feed his family and paid the bills his whole life playing in Bands..

That refinish paint job is over 40 tears old. The Strat had Bell Tone! Perfect for a Strat project, have it refin in any color you choose, or keep as is..a 1961 Refin Strat is over $20,000 as of 2022.. and Vintage is all but dry up.. Gone.. and NO One is parting out Pre CBS Strat anymore..
