50 Year Old Olympic White Refinish Alder Pre CBS Fender Strat Body.. Nitro Finish...
All Contours are perfect and can still see the worm hairs in the Bridge Pickup cavity.. .. router marks, nail holes etc. Are All Present.... AND YOU WANT TO HEAR THE KICKER.....YOU CAN SEE IN MANY PLACES UNDER THE OLD WHITE OVER SPRAYED/OR REFINISHED FINISH... It's Shoreline Gold. Look at the worm hairs still in the Bridge Pickup Cavity.....The Body contours are perfect, so no over sanding was done getting finish off or it could be a over spray over the original finish...It's a cool patina, p[layed out in a band earned wear body period!

In the next to last photo is a 1963 Olympic White Strat. NOT THIS BODY AT ALL. I'm showing you what a real Pre CBS in Olympic White Custom Color Strat Looks like..Some folks think all Olympic White Fender Guitar age to Patina Yellow'ish.. Only the Later White this happens.. as it's the Last Coat of Clear Nitro that will ever age it to the Yellow. Fender started this last coat nitro finish from mid 1963 as Fender was doing to many "R&R ..repair and restoration body finishes.....factory body re finish back in this time. Finishes werent holding up, peeling, checking, falling off back then. Everyone wanted shiney and new back then.. SRV look wasn't adopted yet!
