I know and buy personally from Vince Cunetto. We have talk many times about how Cunetto got started farming out the Custom Shop Relic work... This does not have the burned in headstock CS logo, but in My Opinion... Cunetto finished this and reliced.. Late 1999 he stopped, no one kept perfect info back then.. Only reason I parted this Killer Feista Red 1999 Relic was pickups were changed out to Seymour Duncans.. so was not 100%. But I get Killer Parts, from KILLER Guitar's!
YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER Neck, unless it's a real 1960 Pre CBS 9k one!
Wood was Better then. Fender made their Best, to sell this Custom Shop Idea! No one even seen a Fender Custom Shop in Oct, 1999.. You had to pay up front, wait up to a year.. and no one wanted to do that, then or now.. They were hand built, they went back to the Old Day's. No one ever thought players want a guitar looking beat up... Now day's Fender builds thousands in a week. Back then? 10 maybe..You get my drift..:)
