1960 4/60 Original Finish 2 Tone Strat Body 3-3/4lbs
Well snooze or lose. You do NOT see 2 Tone Orig Early 1960 Fender Strat bodies everyday, not on the 40k whole
Only issue is small deeping of bridge pickup area. I would not put it past Fender in doing this. As can see little scrap around output jack also. Yes Fender did stuff like this, I seen pre cbs bodies, No worm route, I see repaired pieced in blocks of wood in pickup cavities, I seen no paint in neck pocket. They did what they had to when building. NOW I am just saying could of been this. Even if not the case, the price is a Easy $5,000 cheaper because of this. Why I feel Fender did this, tell me why one person would even take a little off around output jack? Remember this Strat was 100% but refret. It CLEARLY felt like I was first to take the output screws out when parting this. Once you put this together, you go taking it apart ever again to look under the hood? This appears as a 1 piece Alder body. Look at pictures showing no finish inside bridge area.
The price is firm, ( You want me to ask 12k, then take your 10k offer and you feel good? I set the price that I more or less have into it. I pay to 3 times this to get the Strat whole. I put up the Big cash, then sell you the part. You don't get this item just laying around a pawn shop.)Get it fixed and blended in for around $200, or pay 15k+, or never get one.
