1959 Original Fender Precision Brazilian Rosewood Bass Neck
You get the Neck with Tuner Bushing and String Tree Only. I have some pics showing the providents this Neck came from.
So the neck has been re fretted, other tuners on, but no routing of tuner holes. Oversprayed but much has been played off. Re Decal on headstock with correct 1959 and no overspray on top of decal... This sounds like a beat up worn out item, but who re frets or wear off the frets on a bass guitar?, if the neck didn't have it, and the other tuners where used over the years as they were wore out from use.
It came from Fender in 1959 as a Dakota Red Precision Bass. So here is a 1st year Fender Slaboard with Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard..
This Bass was my personal I kept up in my shop for years. It is a wide Big C Shape Neck profile. I have a pic showing t next to a 57 P Bass with a big V Neck Profile..
The local player I got the bass from played this bass in many Bands all over the USA doing a 80's hairball Rock music and was modified with Leo Quinn Bad Ass Bridge,Dimarrzio Pickups. This Neck Plays Perfect. Truss Rod has much life left, not all in or all out. Sets up dead straight with No buzz or dead spots. It has a Fender 1959 NOS Decal and with orig tuners back on, almost all the plugged extra tuner screw holes are covered. It has overspray on whole neck, but feels fine and you can see original Nitro finish under the blacklite pictures.
