I had these 2 Olympic White Great Gibson (1980), Fender Strat in my home last night.. Lights low, amp cranked.. Back N Forth playing, bonding, enjoying...... What A PAIR TOGETHER! Came from A Recording Studio in LA.. Been played on many Records.. When they Needed Tone!
Right from Start.. This is a Players Strat. Under 7lbs.. Unheard of!
This was a built Strat from trail n error, trying this, trying that...
Neck is 1959 & Neck Plate 1st year Slaboard.(Killer Brazilian Rosewood) Factory refin and factory decal.. Glows under black lite as real deal...Has good solid reissue kluson tuners. Pro Refret med jumbo frets. Still 7.25" radius.. Truss rod not all the way in, or out. Much room for adjustment. GREAT Neck. Kind of on thin side but wide..
Body is Ash, 1962. UNREAL Light Weight Like 3lbs Even. Old Refin Nitro. Some Orig Olympic White still under, and refin is same color.. Correct nail holes, dowel markers, Glows under black lite. Old Finish, Played Finish. Kool as Heck period.
Pickups are 1959 North magnets (so early 1959) rewound 6k-6.2k Waxed Dipped

Bridge is late 60s trem block, 4out of 6 saddles are pre cbs, 2 look either late 60s -71 or repo
Rest is whatever.. To be honest Id put a real Green Nitro guard on it. I could have, but price higher... Comes in a non orig case..
It plays Like Butter.. Sounds Great.. Is Great..
