100% Original. John Cruz Built.. Most likely one of the 1st Custom Shop Relics Fender did 100% in house. ( The Fender plant) Remember no one heard of buying a new guitar that was beat up after they built it perfect and Mint, then age it up then you buy it. . In 1996 Fender shipped the bodies, necks, parts back in forth from Fender to Vince Cunetto , then back to Fender.. That's why in 1996 you paid full price for your Relic up front, then waited a year+ to get it
To me this is PART OF FENDER HISTORY.. Never to be repeated EVER AGAIN. Now days they make 5 zillion relics a day. Computers and CNC machines build your Fender guitar. NOT to much hand's on in the making of your Start or Tele now days! Them good ole times are Gone brother!
