The back of the body only was re done and has checking and all.. As it was done Many years ago. Lays Guitar in Akron Ohio owner Dan Shinn personalty done the back redo and it was Over 35 years ago.
The Black Pickguard is 1956 but has 1 plugged square plug repair and it's above the P-90 pickup. With the Guitar All strung up.. you don't even notice the repair really. Nice job!
The Wrap Around Original Feather Weight Gibson Bridge now has the Up Grade Gibson Historic Studs Which Makes This is a BIG Improvement... As Gibson on the 1954,55 and 1956 LP Jr had the High E Side Bridge Post to close to the Pickup Route. So Many over time the Bridge Post would be pushed from playing....and the bridge would start to lean forward up towards the headstock, and that lead to problem with intonation and staying in Tune.. As in 1957 That High E Side Post got moved towards the bottom and more wood was there to not get stressed out.. But the 54-56 are the Better Sounding .. Which Many Folks have agreed on..
