Like I said in person it ALL looks as Fender mistake. Yes it was done after finished,they are little bigger than the router marks Fender used to routed the pickup cavity and other areas to make the body. A machine done this, not by hand. But name 1 other reason why a 100% Original solder, all Orig but Re Fret would this happen, second owner had since 1970. Just like you see a pre cbs body with no worm route, no body date, repaired pickup cavity where router did a mistake, a kluson tuner with no spot in top to put string in, pat pend stamped on under side of saddle, bad paint jobs, not base coat on paint job, bake lite parts mixed with abs plastic, white strat case with a 100% 66 strat, decals on off center, it's all Fender, can't change the Past.Nor would I want to. . It's all Fender. NOT the end of the world, and not $20,000. I was not with this body since Dec 1956, neither was you, I feel Very Valid in this conclusion from ME owning 1,000s of Strats. Not 100s, but 1,000s, in saying this.
