1954 Thru 1964 FENDER PAT. PEND. Strat Saddles Real & FAKE Little Refresher There are Great Repo/Relic Pre CBS parts on the web one can purchase for their Fender Strat or Telecaster.. There is nothing wrong in selling clones to the real deal.. THERE IS ALOT Wrong in selling a fake part as the real deal.
The Photos show the difference from Real and the fake. Yes it;s night and day, that is because my photos are clear and close. Real saddles are always crisp bends. The Stamp PAT. PEND. is all on the saddle and again crisp. The intonation height adjustment screws always have the round bottoms. These set of fake had home made filing to round the bottom and if you didn't stare at the screws under nice lighting.. you could maybe think you got a honest deal.. Without another set or a 100% Pre CBS Fender Stratocaster to A/B side by side... one can overlook the facts and you think you have a 100% Straight Strat, till you go to sell it, and find out you paid a $1,000 for some $50 fake saddles... you see my point.
Of coarse this seller played dumb on if they was the real deal, said I was dumb for calling him out.. and EvilBay... REMAINS Evil!
