1954 7 of 40 Made Cunetto 1997 Fender Custom Shop Strat Relic
I sold this Strat in 2010 for $4500 and it went to France... The guy in France played the heck out of it, and he had this luthier over there relic it even more. It was a closet classic per say when I got it. This was made in 1997. Fender only had Vince Cunetto do the finish work and aging back from 1996-Mid 1999. Fender always built the guitar, Vince just did finish/relic work. This Strat does not have the burned in Custom Shop logo on back of headstock. I'm not sure if Vince finished the Strat. But of Cunneto ERA.
It has the Black inside shielding paint, as all Fender did back then...Still sounds and plays as Great as it always had.
I have it set up Perfect. Straight Neck, kinda lower action. Smooth broke in feeling as it has been played much over the years.. You will LOVE the Strat. The Neck feels just right and looking at the neck asw your playing just freaks you out with the KILLER Flame! With that Flame.. Comes Bell Tone
This is #7 out of 40 Fender done on a special run back in 1997
The Neck is to die for.. 9.5" radius, big frets! Flamed to Death!!!!!!!!!! You will never ever see this Quality wood ever again. Cunetto days are gone, for Ever!
You get Strat with trem arm, Case and COA only.. I never had any case candy with it.
Yes I have got back a few of my guitar's over the years.I and you are not the only one's on earth that needs rehab on the never ending love/addiction/quest for the next Great Find**** For me, I already know what I'm getting and I know it's a Great Axe, so I like getting old friends back... It looks better and is moJo heavier this time around.. folks:)
