1951 John Cruz Made NoCaster Tele Fender Custom Shop 2000 NOS Body
Made in 2000. Killer Thin Skin Blond Nitro Ash Body. Made to 1951 Fender Specs.. This is right after Cunetto stopped finishing the Custom Shop Neck and Bodies! Notice Fender even used old school nails to hold body on lazy susan when applying the finish. Thus 3 nail holes in body.(see pics)
Body has a JC (John Cruz) stamped in bridge pickup route, and
Neck has John Cruz Stamp
This is really a neat item and a part of Fender History..(To Me) Notice Fender still used the black shielding paint in control area. All Cunetto's had the black inside ALL Cavity! Fender started using nail hole (nails), Cunetto did not. Old school burned into the wood Fender Custom Shop Logo.. Fender never done anything like this since PRE CBS Days. They had the 3 bolt junks for many years. (71-74 3 bolt Strats are good to me, but not after) You think about it, going Back to Old School, brought them back to life. So this Body is done by one of the Best. Master Craftmem now. You want John to build You a Personal Relic? 2-1/2 wait time. So this body has Real "MojO" to me...
