1963 Fender Tweed Caster Nancy Wilson Eddie Vegas Killer Build
YES It Plays and Sounds Killer! I purchased a 1982 Fender 1952 USA RI Fullerton Fender Telecaster Body... That Fender built for Nancy Wilson of Heart. Fender sent her the body for approval in 1982.. She didn't like the way the Tweed covering the body that Fender put on so she had it striped and the body sat around for many years.. her Tweed Caster idea dead...
I purchased it from from player in CA, who plays with Roger Fisher who was the Original Guitar player with Heart.. Nancy and Roger were a couple back then and Roger is a Gear Nut and like most of us, some has to go sooner or later. Pass on to another that mite build or use this Body..
I get body 29 years later.. I get some original 1950's Fender Tweed Amp Materiel.. and Dan Shinn owner and friend of Lay's Guitar said he try and put on for me, Nitro Over Tweed to give the Look
Rest is 1963 Tele Neck, 63 L Neck Plate. 1967 Tele Pickguard. 1958 Strap Button's, 1961 Vol & Tone Knobs,
So 40 years later.. Tweed Caster Custom with Aged White Binding is Finished... and it came out better than what Fender original done!. I would say.....
