Rod Schoepfer Custom Built Kramer
Rod was a luthier in NJ who built guitars for many NJ/NY musicians such as Richie Sambora of Jon Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Blue Oyster Cult and even Les Paul. He built and worked on all of Richie Sambora�s guitars from before he was in Bon Jovi ,and while In Bon Jovi through to the the early 90�s. This one was built to present some new ideas to Richie but Richie never accepted it as he and Rod had a falling out shortly thereafter
So this is LAST Guitar Built for Richie but he never got. Collector Owned, Never Played.... RARE Opportunity... 80's made... Go Google these 2 names. ALL Kinds of Info on Ron being the main man, responsible for building TONE Rockets, on all that music we grew up on!
It�s a cool/unique guitar with Richie�s specs at the time - a Kramer/ Schoepfer neck, neck lock (something that Richie and Rod developed to keep Richie�s necks from going out), EMG active pickups and a Kahler trem.
Since it was the 80�s, and Rod did a lot of off and pastel colors, it�s a pinkish/peach color (more pinkish) with black hardware/pickups and mini shallers with pearl buttons (a Richie standard on all his guitars along with the neck lock and other stuff.) Because Rod built Richie custom guitars and was also the one who built Richie�s Kramers in the 80�s, Rod had access to Kramer�s inventory, necks, etc. so that�s why this one has a Kramer claw neck with Rod�s �Schoepfer� logo applied.
I'm not done with pictures etc. Real Quick, this was Collector Owned, so really unplayed 99% Mint. It will BLOW YOU Away, and NEVER EVER Go out of Tune.. Like Never!. Has 10-46 strings on it, and never played a easier perfect playing guitar ever... IN MY Life...
Rod also made or customized guitars for Skid Row and Vivian Campbell ( guitarist for Thin Lizzy, Def Leppard, White Snake and Dio)
