7lb Feather Weight!The Tele Pro is the Fender� Custom Shop platform to design new guitars with custom and/or modern features that strat players will appreciate. For starters, our neck shape is an extremely comfortable large "soft V" while the fingerboard has a 12" radius for modern bends and action. 2011 Custom Shop Tele Pro models will be designated by "Pro Model 1207" written on the back of the headstock. The Seymour Duncan pickups are extremely balanced and were developed for Nashville studio guitar players.
The Pickups - (Seymour Duncan Five-Two� STL-52 and STR-52) Tele� players often complain that their low strings sound "mushy" and their high strings are too bright - especially in the bridge position. The Five-Two concept corrects this with Alnico 5 magnets on the three low strings and Alnico 2 magnets on the three high strings. The result is an all-around, extremely well-balanced pickup with traditional output and vintage appointments such as vulcanized fibre bobbins, formvar wire, vintage magnet stagger and waxed cloth hookup cable. The rhythm pickup is RW/RP for hum canceling when using both pickups together.
