1953 Masterbuilt Roy Buchnana Fender Tele Aged Relic Neck
Masterbuilt by The Owner Dan Shinn @ Lays Guitar.. For his own personal 1953 Roy Buchana Black Guard Telecaster, Roy named Nancy
(In THIS SALE you get the Neck with Tuners & String Tree ONLY.. I have some pictures of the guitar whole and a pictures under black Light ( body & neck) to show this Tele has aged and Nitro Finish is starting to glow) I also added a Real NOS out of my hidden stash PRE CBS Fender Period Correct Waterslide Decal. It was worthy to get a Great Decal. The Neck Plays and Sounds and Feels Just Right when your holding and playing it. Frets are Hand Rolled and smooth. This neck was built from the ground up.. just as Fender Custom Shop does, and by a Master Luthier.. Dan. His shop has all the new and old school machinery in there. CNC machine, Spray Booth.. and all the laths etc. I parted the Tele as this is how I get Great Parts... by parting out Great Guitar's. Not because the Tele was a dud.. or had issues. In context. when I say a part plays great. It comes from. Me playing it...

Attention to detail, but MOST OF ALL "THE Wood" Face it All the Best Tone wood is gone. This body is hand selected wood Dan put away for years, then built a 1953 Tele as Roy played. Also he built this Tele for himself... Then I go top his shop on the way back from NY.. and I had to have it..
Below are the specs of this 1953 build
Here is an iconic Telecaster clone from "the best guitar player that you have never heard of" - Roy Buchanan. This is a custom creation from the nationally known builders at Lay's Guitar Shop in Akron Ohio. This Butterscotch / Black Guard T-Style is cloned from Roy's 1953 Tele that was pictured on his album covers over the years.
It had a swamp ash body, figured maple neck, Callahan bridge assembly, custom-wound pickups, and a custom wiring harness with CTS pots and orange drop caps.
