About patent nr PAFs:
1- Patent number label on the bottom, no T on the bobbins. Used from 1962-1965.
Usually nickel or gold screws and covers.
These are by far the most valuable non-PAF Gibson pickups. They are essentially the same as the last version of the PAFs but have a different label on them.

I always wanted a Old Wood hollow body Gibson with the Peter Green PAF Tone. Where the pickups are out of phase when on 10, but normal when on 8 or so. I wanted a axe with that distinct Tone. The Bare Knuckle Peter Green PAF humbuckers gave me that. BUT I needed a Old Guitar to do. So I did it. Thus in selling these. I said before these humbuckers are right after Gibson was using PAF pickups. Ever get a 2 Humbucker Gibson with 1 PAF and 1 Pat # ? Darn Close as PAF the Early Pat # Humbuckers.
